Sharda University Basketball Team Won the Championships in Jaypee and Amity University

Recently in the month of February, the basketball team went to Jaypee University & Amity University Noida for their Annual Sports Meet 2017, and Sharda University Basketball team Won both the Championships.

1. Jaypee University 4th Feb 7th Feb 2017

Jaypee Institute of Information Technology celebrated their sports fest. The Sharda University defeated every team in the competition such as Noida International University, G D Geonika University, DCAC college, Motilal Nehru college with ease. The only tough competition was against the Amity University, Noida. The team reflected their composure and played to its full capacity. The university team defeated the GGSIPU in the finals to grab the gold medal. The team was shuffled for the competition but the results were favorable.

2. Amity University 13th Feb to 17th Feb 2017
Sharda University basketball team went to Amity University, Noida for their sports festival "Spardha" 2k17. More than 30 teams participated in the tournament. The team performed exceptionally well and defeated teams like GGSIP University Delhi, MVN University, Amity University, Shiv Nadar University. Galgotia University, GBU Greater Noida & Motilal Nehru, ARSD, IGIPESS, Dayal Singh College and Many More College in the finals to continue their winning streak and bag the winners' medal in Amity. Dhal Abraham was the Most Valuable Player of the tournament as a result of his smart plays and ferocious moves.
