Christ Church College¸ Kanpur¸ the oldest college of the city (1866)¸ carries a historic heritage of supreme educational service and standards. R.G.Slater and Prof. Ninan Abraham¸ its luminous alumni include such noted names as Shri Motilal Nehru¸ Shri Uma Shankar Dixit¸ Shri Ziaullah Rehman Ansari¸ Pt. Dwarika Prasad Mishra¸ Vice Admiral Avinash Bhatia¸ the famous singer Abhijeet¸ the Chief Financial Officer of the White House¸ U.S.A.¸ Shri Gopal Khanna¸ Shri Anant Mishra¸ Minister of Health¸ U.P.¸ and countless others like them.The College began as an S.P.G.
