DESCRIPTION :

The Isabella Thoburn Society has a remarkable educational history which dates back to a period of over 125 years. Its founder Isabella Thoburn¸ was the first Methodist missionary¸ who came to India in 1869.She established the Isabella Thoburn College for women first in South Asia.

A one room college was launched during 1870 in the city centric at Aminabad¸ sprawling to the present 32 acre Campus  at the Chand Bagh estate in the heart of Lucknow.Theall-round developmental activities of the College covered academic as well as infrastructure facilities which resulted in a modest increase in student strength.

Isabella Thoburn College ? Professional Studies was enriched in 2017 with a view to creating  Women Business Leaders. They are being trained¸ taught and toughened in an all-woman atmosphere related to academics¸ projects and skill in order to face the challenges in the real world.
