In these days of eroding standards¸ Nalla Malla Reddy Education Society has taken up technical education by establishing Nalla Malla Reddy Engineering College in the best of environs with a magnificent structure and created the best of infrastructure for a delightful learning making it a 'Complete Institution'¸ moulding the students into the best¸ versatile¸ honest engineers and scientists with 'Complete Education'¸ imparting education as it has to be.

NMREC is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)¸ New Delhi and affiliated to JNTU Hyderabad. NMREC is offering 5 B.Tech. programs¸ 4 M.Tech. programs in addition to an MBA program.

The B.Tech programs in ECE¸ CSE¸ EEE¸ and Mechanical Engineering are accredited for the second time by National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
The college is accredited by NAAC with an A grade.
