Mamata Medical College is the first private¸ self funded College to have earned final recognition from Medical Council of India as a Medical College¸ in the State of Andhra Pradesh with an intake of 150 admissions annually.

Mamata Medical College was re-accreditated and awarded 'A' Grade (Very Good) with CGPA of 3.31 on four point scale by the NATIONAL ASSESSMENT AND ACCREDITATION COUNCIL¸ Bangalore on 1st May¸ 2015.2017-18 APCOGN
The credit for this goes to the dedicated effort of staff¸ students and management. The Medical College was started in the year 1998 and has obtained final recognition from Medical Council of India and the Government of India in March¸ 2003.
