DESCRIPTION :

Nova College of pharmacy¸ Jangareddigudem was established in the academic year 2005 -2006 in green serene¸ pollution free¸ calm area called Vegavaram.

Our college is affiliated to JNTU Kakinada and is recognized by AICTE and PCI.
The college started with an intake of  60 students and there were a total of 66 outgoing students in the first batch with a total pass percentage of 98% in B .pharmacy course.Post graduation in pharmacy was started in oct 2009¸ and presently the college is offering Bachelor of pharmacy and Masters of  pharmacy in pharmaceutics¸ pharmaceutical analysis¸ and industrial pharmacy with a total strength of 250 students.


Four batches from B. pharmacy and one batch of M.pharmacy were released with a good result of 85%.Miss NirmalaPooja of M.pharmacy(2010-2011) was university topper in the first year. Many of our outgoing students are placed in good industries  ¸ colleges and few are placed in pharmaceutical organizations in USA and   UK .

We organized national seminar ?PHARMA SPARK?  in 2008 in which nearly 250 students from all over India participated. Swine flu rally was carried out in 2009 to educate the people about   swine flu in 2010 national seminar. ?PHARMA SPLASH? was organized in which nearly 400 students praticipitated. Every year pharmacy week is celebrated in the first week of November.
Our students are very good in sports and they participate in all the events during the sports week that is being organized regularly in our college .They participate in various events like cricket(boys)¸  cricket (girls)¸we have state level player in girls cricket ¸volley ball ¸tennis ¸tennicoit¸ kabbadi  and chess.
our college has well established lecturer-halls with projectors¸ well equipped labs ¸digital library with many books ¸journals and e-books.
