The society of CSSA was founded by Smt. Tatiparti Gnanamma in Chennai and later its branch was established at Phirangipuram in Guntur district¸ Andhra Pradesh in 1882. It was bifurcated from its main organiztion and became separte independent society. At present with its mother house in Hyderabad¸ it renders services in four major areas of Eduction¸ Medical¸ Evangeliztion and Social Apostolates
