Hospital is located at Agamkuan and is well connected by all communication means. It has about 100 acres of land and different departments of the hospital are spread over several buildings in the campus. The different departments of the hospital are well equipped with modern equipments and expert doctors. NMCH is a major hub for treatment of all specialty in eastern patna taking care of approximately 2000 patient per day in OPD. The no of admission of patient per day in different departments and in casualty as well as in emergency is also very high. The hospital has about 750 beds with a very high percentage of bed occupancy. Hospital has fully computerized centralized registration counter. Distribution of medicine among the OPD patients as well as to the admitted patients is done as per Bihar government guidelines.
