DESCRIPTION :

The Athena Exchange programme between the Electronics Engineering Department of Agnel Polytechnic and the Electrical and Energy course at Tumba Gymnasium¸ Sweden in 2012-13 has finally begun!!! The Athena Exchange programme is expected to widen the technical competence of the participants as well as expose them to the cultural facets of each others countries.
The seeds of the exchange programme were sown when a Swedish delegation from Tumba Gymnasium visited Agnel Polytechnic for a planning trip in December 2012¸ when they had a look-around the entire campus.
In the first leg of the programme¸ a group of twelve students and three faculty members from the Electronics Engineering Department of Agnel Polytechnic¸ Verna will be visiting Tumba Gymnasium¸ Sweden for a fortnight from September 16¸ 2012. During the visit¸ the delegation from Goa will attend lectures at the Swedish institution¸ visit various technical industries and experience the cultural aspects of Sweden¸ thus getting a global perspective of the technical education system.
In the second leg of the programme¸ a similar group from the Swedish institution will visit Agnel Polytechnic in January 2013.""
