SDDIP¸ Village Golpura (Barwala) Distt. Panchkula was started in the year-2004 with a mission to impart quality base suitable education ¸training and ethical standards of pharmacy to students and preparing them for the profession of Pharmacy. Currently the institute is offering two courses viz. D-Pharmacy (a two year diploma course) and B-Pharmacy (a four years degree course)with an intake of 60 seats in each. The D-Pharmacy course is approved by AICTE¸ PCI¸ Haryana Govt & is affiliated to State Board Of Technical Education¸ Haryana. B-Pharmacy is approved by AICTE¸ Haryana Govt. and is affiliated to Kurukshetra University¸ Kurukshetra. 

The SDDIP has an area of 3 acre with all facilities to meet all challenges that our pharma students are experiencing in this modern scenario. At SDDIP we are building our students though need based teaching¸ regular seminars¸ practical training¸ excurtions¸ visits to industries¸ extension lectures of scholars¸ as well making them good humans by motivating them for blood donation & tackling social issues like ADIS¸ no use of polythene bags & eradication of congress grass¸ River pollution by submersion of idols & flowers¸ effect of crackers on Deewali function etc by organizing Quiz & seminars.
