Established in 1973¸ Shree Damodar College of Commerce & Economics ? the flagship institution of Vidya Vikas Mandal ? is one of the most prominent colleges in Goa¸ recogniPAge 7 College Campuszed both within and outside the State as a centre of educational excellence. Right from its inception¸ the College has been the preferred destination of some of Goa?s brightest and best students.

In keeping with its vision and mission¸ the College constantly strives to ensure that teachers stay abreast of the recent developments in their own fields of expertise and in pedagogy. One step in this direction during 2018-19¸ was that all teachers were asked to complete at least one Massive Online Open Course (MOOC) from the UGC Swayam platform. 19 teachers have already completed a course and others are at various stages of completion.

Students get the best possible education on the campus. A recent survey of parents indicated that parents consider the teaching staff¸ teaching methods¸ assessment¸ infrastructural facilities¸ etc. to be very good or excellent¸ and that they have admitted their children to Shree Damodar College mainly on account of its reputation.
