DESCRIPTION :

Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University has been established by the Govt. of Jharkhand vide J.R.S.U. Act¸ 2016 pursuant to a decision to establish a high performing knowledge institution patterned on the founding vision of the Gujarat.

Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University is first of its kind in eastern India and aims to provide-
(i) Efficient¸ trained and professional manpower to meet the demand of Police and other security forces.

(ii) Opportunity to the youth of the State to build their career in State Police¸ Central police¸ military and other private security forces.

(iii) Training and building manpower to tackle the upcoming challenges from various types of offences such as terrorism¸ economic offence¸ cyber crime¸ telecommunication offence and the offences requiring expertise in forensic science.
