Located in Midnapore (West Bengal)¸ Midnapore Medical College and Hospital was established in 2004. Earlier¸ the college was known as Midnapur Sadar Hospital¸ West Midnapur¸ but to provide medical study to the young generation¸ the Government of West Bengal changed its name. The college is approved by the Medical Council of India¸ Government of India¸ New Delhi. Midnapore Medical College and Hospital is affiliated to West Bengal University of Health Science and it imparts course in the field of medical science¸ at the undergraduate level.
