The Doon Valley institute of Pharmacy and Medicine (DIPM) was established in the year 2004 with B. Pharmacy course¸ and affiliated to Kurukshetra University¸ Kurukshetra. Now the college offers B.Pharmacy and M¸Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology) courses duly approved by AICTE and affiliated to Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences¸ Rohtak. The faculty is highly qualified¸ experienced and updated with the latest knowledge. Pharmacy is the health profession that links the health sciences with the chemical sciences and it is charged with ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical drugs. It is the branch of science which deals with the study of chemistry of drugs¸ their origin¸ procedures for drug development¸ their preparation¸ dispensing¸ their effects and eventual use for prevention and treatment of diseases.
