DESCRIPTION :

The institute was established in year 2001 under the chairmanship of Dr. Ashawani Kamboj for the development of Indian system of Medicine. Currently this institute is being successfully managed by young and energetic Director¸ Dr. Sumit Kamboj. Presently the institute is providing MD(Ayurveda)¸ Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery(BAMS)¸ Diploma in Pharmacy¸ Diploma in Panchkarma¸ and PG in Yogic Science. The institute is also running 100 beded hospital with modern medical facilities¸ having Yoga centre¸ Physiotherapy & Panchkarma units.

The Institute is recognized by Central Council of Indian Medicine¸ permitted by Govt. of India - Ministry of health & Family welfare Department of AYUSH¸ New Dehli¸ affiliated to H.N.B. Garhwal University¸ Srinagar¸ Uttarakhand and approved by Uttarakhand Government. The Management is determined to develop this Institute into a model of excellent Academic Centre for Learning and Research in Ayurveda & Yogic Sciences¸ which would cater not only to the people of Uttarakhand but the whole World. The Institute aims at producing graduates of profound knowledge of Ayurveda & Yoga with extensive practical knowledge to make them fully competent to serve in the Medical¸ Health and Family welfare services and enable them to earn with respect and dignity.

The Institute is situated at the foothills of Mussoorie (The Queen of Hills)¸ 3500 feet above the sea level at Dehradun which is the Capital of Uttarakhand state. Institute is situated in a very pictureous surroundings and nature has bestowed upon its maximum beauty. There is excellent environment for studies and development of personality.

Dehradun was also known as ?DRONA NAGRI? because Acharya Drona lived here and worshiped for many years. Sikh Guru Ram Rai also lived and established here his ?Dera?. Previously it was known as ?DEHRADRON? and now it is known as ?DEHRADUN?. Dehradun is a valley¸ which is covered by HIMALAYAS in the North and surrounded by SHIVALIK HILLS in the South. Holy river GANGA is on its East and YAMUNA is on its West. Most of the herbs¸ shrubs and trees are found growing naturally here. The scenario of forests and vegetation is itself health and education promoting. It is a beautiful city with pleasant and pollution free climate throughout the year.

The city is the most famous for Education and Tourism Centre of Northern India. Near by tourist spots like Haridwar¸ Rishikesh¸ Mussoorie¸ Dhanaulty¸ Chakrata¸ Ponta Sahib and Dak Pathar have further glorified its location.

Dehradun is also famous for many important Head Offices and Institutes of Govt. of India like Forest Research Institute(FRI)¸ Oil and Natural Gas Corporation(ONGC)¸ Wild Life Institute¸ Survey of India¸ Indian Military Academy(IMA)¸ Wadia Institute of Himalyan Geology¸ Indian Institute of Petroleum(IIP)¸ Doon School¸ Wehlam Boys and Girls School¸ Lal Bahadur Shastri Academy of Administration(LBSA)¸ Defence Research and Development Organisation(DRDO).

We have extended another unit in Uttar Pradesh by the Name of Indian Institute of Nursing/Pharmacy/Education¸ which is situated in village Sherpur¸ via Chhutmalpur¸ district Saharanpur¸ presently running ANM¸ GNM¸ D.Pharma Course¸ D.EL.ED and 100 beded indoor hospital in the name of "Dhanvantri Lifeline Hospital".
