Year 2011 has witnessed the establishment of the fourth campus of Meerut Institute of Engineering & Technology (MIET Group) in Haldwani¸ Uttarakhand by the name of MIET Kumaon.

The flagship Institute of MIET Group¸ namely Meerut Institute of Engineering & Technology (MIET) was established in 1997 as the fourth oldest self-financed engineering college in Uttar Pradesh.
