DESCRIPTION :

 The College was established on February 28¸ 1997 in Talwari¸ which is situated 11 km from the Tehsil Tharali and 11km from Gwaldam¸ which is beautiful tourist place situated at the Bageshwar-Chamoli district border. Talwari is a beautiful place and its lovely to watch the snow covered Trishuli mountains from this place. It is about 98 km away from the District Headquarter¸ i.e. Gopeshwar. As it is the only college in the Pindar valley¸ the students from very remote places like Deval¸ Tharali¸ Lolti¸ Talwari¸ Gwaldam¸ Gerur¸ etc. come to study. There are two faculties in the college¸ viz. Arts and Science. The Faculty of Arts has six departments (Hindi¸ English¸ Sanskrit¸ History¸ Sociology and Political Science)¸ while Faculty of Science has five departments (Botany¸ Chemistry¸ Mathematics¸ Physics and Zoology). The College is functional in two buildings¸ viz. Science Block 1 and 2¸ while the building of Administrative Block is under construction.
