DESCRIPTION :

To meet the needs of industries in Gujarat and beyond¸ to contribute to the growth of industries through modern Information Technology¸ and to provide talented youngsters of Gujarat with engineering education of a high standard¸ Charutar Vidya Mandal (CVM) decided in 1995 to set up a private engineering college as per the norms of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the policy of the State Government. Finally in 1996¸ CVM started GCET with two engineering disciplines. GCET started functioning in academic year 1996-1997 by offering two four-year Bachelor of Engineering Degree programmes namely Chemical Engineering and Information Technology. Currently institute is running with seven disciplines at graduate level and two at post graduate level.
