Shree N.M Gopani polytechnic is established in the year 1997-98 approved by All India council for technical education (AICTE)¸ New Delhi¸ Government of Gujarat¸ Gandhinagar and affiliated to Gujarat Technological University (GTU) Ahmadabad & Technical examination board¸ Gandhinagar(TEB).

The institute is run by Ranpur Sarvajanik Education society under inspired leadership of Shree Jatinbhai M Sheth & Shree Mukundbhai Laljibhai Wadhawana industrialist at ranpur. Shree Jatinbhai is a well- known industrialist having dealership of Mercedes¸ Honda city¸ Walks -vegan & 10 show rooms at Bombay and having large workshop for four-wheelers at Bombay.

The Ranpur Sarvajanik Education Society is established in the year 1959 with the objective of strong academic tradition & ?Education for everyone? in rural area.
