Sanatan Dharam Mahila Mahavidyalya¸ Hansi is a premier institution devoted to the cause of women education¸ women upliftment and women improvement. The institution was set up in 1970 under the benign guidance and blessings of Sh. Ganesha Nand Ji Maharaj 1008. Starting with the admission of 120 students in 1970. 

The aim of the Mahavidyalya is to preserve the ancient Indian culture and include the spirit of patriotism and nationalism among the budding young women of the area. 

The college has been accredited with B+ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council¸ Bangalore. The college has now earned a reputation for imparting quality education and a sense of discipline in the younger generations. The college is¸ at present¸ running Arts and Commerce faculties¸ Professional courses¸ such as Commercial Arts¸ Advertising¸ Sales Promotion and Sales Management. Computer Courses are being run in the college. From the session 2006-07¸ some Add-on-courses¸ Functional Hindi¸ Functional English and Art Designing Classes have also been started with the permission and grant of U.G.C.
