The seeds of BITS edu campus were sown by Shree Krishna Educational Charitable Trust (SKECT) established in the year 2000 by the visionary Shri J D Patel ¸ the Founder Managing Trustee & Chairman¸ driven by an acute urge to establish the world class institutes par excellence with a commitment to advance knowledge and educate students in science¸ Technology and allied areas of higher education and also to enlarge its scope¸ thus far limited to a few institutes which deprived a many in past from fulfilling their cherished desires for such education .He has transformed his vision in this respect into a Mission with utmost dedication and commitment to bring profound benefits to the society. In appreciation of his yeoman services in the field of ?The challenges of Economical Growth & Social Development ?¸ he has been awarded ?SHIKSHA BHARTI AWARD? by AIBSF on 22nd November 2010 at New Delhi and ?EDUCATION EXCELLENCE AWARD? for BEST ENGINEERING COLLEGE IN GUJARAT¸ by Brands Academy on 31st March 2012 at New Delhi.
