DESCRIPTION :

Government Arts College¸ Maninagar¸ Ahmedabad has been established by government of Gujarat in June 2007.  Eastern area of Maninagar is economically weaker so¸ the visionary chief minister of Gujarat Shree Narendra Modi has decided to uplift education standard of this area. He performed bhoomipujan ceremony along with education minister Smt. Anandiben Patel and dedicated upcoming educational campus to the legendary scholar of Gujarat Padmashree Keshavram. K. Shastri. On 19th June¸ 2008¸ chief minister Shree Narendra Modi¸ along with ministers of the state¸ Vice chancellors of the different universities and scholars from various fields   inaugurated Padmashree Keshavram. K. Shastri educational campus with pomp and glory. New building has all the modern facilities. Along with Arts College other six colleges have been started in same grand educational campus.
