DESCRIPTION :

Physiotherapy is a discipline of health care practice which deals with abundant variety of patients (ranges from conditions of Orthopedic¸ Neurology¸ Cardio-respiratory¸ Gynecology¸ Pediatrics¸ Dermatology¸ Sports injuries and so on) by evaluating and treating with physical agents. Electrotherapy modalities (like Short Wave Diathermy¸ LASER¸ IRR¸ Ultraviolet rays¸ Ultrasonic therapy¸ Different Frequency Currents¸ etc) and Therapeutic 

exercises (Neuro Development Therapies¸ Motor Relearning Program¸ Mobilization techniques¸ Tapping¸ Sports Massage¸ Joint Tractions¸ Stretching¸ Movement training¸ Chest mobilization¸ Cardiovascular Conditioning¸ and so many other Active & Passive rehabilitative approaches are also used) are prescribed and implemented to the patients as per their problem list.

Physiotherapist in an independent practice setting applies physiotherapy skills and knowledge to the assessment¸ diagnosis¸ planning¸ prescription¸ delivery and re-evaluation of intervention programs in the management of patients throughout their life span on a referral or first-contact basis.
