Mission
School of Journalism and Mass Communication has been nurturing the students since 36 long¸ glorious years. School aids in learning of interdisciplinary knowledge¸ and foster critical¸ analytical skills to grasp the balanced view of affairs of the world at large among the students.

SJMC inculcates in depth appreciation of context and aspects of culture¸ history¸ ethics and law so that students can apply their knowledge and skills in the pertinent matters.

SJMC endeavourscontinuously to develop proficiency in one specialised field among students and makes efforts to develop ability to draw on acquired multiple skills in areas of their chosen field.
