Established in 1968¸ Master Tara Singh Memorial College For Women¸ Ludhiana was the first women college to commemorate the cherished memory of Master Tara Singh ? an educationist and a great visionary-to serve the cause of women education with about 150 students and 7 teachers. It has taken a tremendous leap in the academic¸ cultural and sports field and has carved an enviable niche for itself among the women colleges of the city. From a cramped and threatening space¸ the shifting of building to wider¸ better and greener space bears a testimony to the tremendous strides it has taken since its inception.
