DESCRIPTION :

The college is privileged to have a team of dedicated teachers who make all sorts of possible efforts to see that teaching and learning goes simultaneously. Keeping in mind the need for the all-round development of the students¸ there is a provision of indoor and outdoor games for them. To create the needed awareness in the students¸ regarding the social evils in particular¸ working with the Community is a regular feature of the college programme. Not only this¸ the college also organizes Seminar/ Conferences/ Workshop at national and international level every year with an aim to provide a platform to the society in general and teachers in particular¸ for deliberations and discussion on the contemporary social¸ national and international Issues¸ Perceptions and Perspectives. Till date SSCE has successfully organized two National Seminars¸ two International Conference and two National Workshops which were attended by a good number of delegates not only from different regions of country but also from abroad . To encourage faculty and students to be more research oriented the college publishes the Research Journal-Vision twice a year wherein the high quality research papers of the authors from different institutes from all around the country are published. At SSCE¸ thus¸ every effort is made to give a practical shape to the often quoted saying that EDUCATION IS NOT MERELY TRAINING FOR LIVING BUT IT IS ALSO A PREPARATION FOR LIFE.
