GNM Nursing

DESCRIPTION :

It is an educational institute where the students acquire knowledge and skill and right attitude to function as trained nurses and midwives in hospital and community. This school of nursing was started in October 1993. It is permanently affiliated to Punjab nurses registration council vide letter no. PNRC-97-1014 DATED: 27-5-97 and regular recognition by Indian nursing council vide letter no. 20-7-95-INC 95-96. The syllabus and minimum requirements as laid down by the Indian nursing council and amended from time to time applicable to course conducted by the school.
 
Courses of studies
The school offers a diploma course in general nursing and midwifery combined for three years and six month duration.
 
Philosophy of school of nursing
The school of nursing believes that the diploma nursing course of three and half years duration will prepare nurses for first level position in nursing in both hospital and community.
