Baba Sheikh Farid Medical Institute for Nursing is under the management of Baba Sheikh Farid education medical & Research society¸ Kotkapura. The aim of this institute is to transforming the society at large by imparting education to the coming up youth and to fulfill the needs of the under priveleged section of the society by all modes of the disposal of the society. Now we need a new generation of youth trained in various disciplines who are self dependent. Independentaly viable and are capable of being the instrument of change of society to order of the day. With this very aim in mind Baba Farid Medical Institute for message for running ANM (Auxillary Nurse & Midwifery) course since 2010. The institute has been started ANM 1-1/2 year course and for DMLT since 2007 now GNM 3-1/2 year course has been started which is afffiliated by PNRC and INC New Delhi. This institute is having its very beautiful building near Muktsar Road Kotkapura Kothe Ber Wale. The class rooms¸ science labs demonstration room etc are well equipped. The students are imparting community health nursing training in both rural and urban areas. The clinical training is given in its affiliated hospitals and PHC (Public health centre)
