DESCRIPTION :

Sachkhand School of Nursing¸ Abohar is being run by a registered society namely¸ Sachkhand Convent School Educational Society which came into existence vide Registration No.FZR-107 dated 28-7-2000 with the aim of transforming the society at large by imparting education to the coming up youth and to fulfill the needs of the underprivileged sections of the society by all modes at the disposal of the society. Society has launched the Sachkhand School of Nursing at Hindumalkot Road¸ Abohar¸ District Feorzepur duly recognized by Government of Punjab Memo No.2/13/2004-6HBIII.2854 dated 8-6-2004¸ Punjab Nurses Registration Council¸ Chandigarh vide No.PNRC-04//8110 dated 27-10-2004 and Indian Nursing Council¸ New Delhi vide their No.18-26/1557/INC dated 24-09-2004

Vocational Education is the need of the hour. Keeping this in mind Sachkhand School of Nursing¸ Abohar is running GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery Course) involving a period of three and a half years. This school is equipped with well-stacked Library¸ sophisticated laboratories¸ and arrangement of referral hospitals with all the specialties and latest instruments. In nutshell school is ideally set up to train young Nurses of tomorrow with intake capacity of 60 students approved by the Punjab Government.
Nurses are in great demand not only in Punjab and India but also in abroad. Punjab is facing acute scarcity of capable Nurses and its shortage is also felt in various hospitals through out India and abroad.
Therefore¸ our society resolved to meet the shortage of Nurses¸ make public aware of health science apart from enabling unemployed youth to secure gainful employment in health stream.
