Malwa College of Nursing is recognized by Punjab Govt.¸ Punjab Nurses Registration Council¸ Chandigarh¸ Indian Nursing Council¸ New Delhi and affiliated with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences¸ Faridkot Punjab India.
The Malwa Educational Society (Regd.) Faridkot was established under the Society Registration Act (XXI of 1860). It was the dream of Late Dr. Ravinder Singh to impart quality education to girls in the field of Nursing in this backward area of the State.

Initially a Dispensary was started at Kotkapura (Distt. Faridkot) to look after the poor patients and provide better nursing care. His dream materialized when this Society established best private nursing institute ?The Malwa Institute of Nursing¸ Kotkapura? in September¸ 2000¸ with an intake of 40 students per year in three years Diploma Course of ?General Nursing & Midwifery? (G.N.M) for 10+2 graduated students. The intake capacity was increased from 40 to 60 in the year 2002.
