The college is housed in the heart of the city Muktsar. Presently¸ the college has a large number of spacious and airy classrooms along with a very well equipped Library with a large number of reference books and encyclopedias on educational research and books on general subjects.
Muktsar is a flourshing town and a district headquarter which derives its name from chali Muktas (Forty Martyrs) who sacrified their lives in famous battle of khidrana in 1705. Bawa Nihal Singh B.Ed. College is located in the very heart of the city¸ Sri Muktsar Sahib. This college has been established since 2006 keeping in mind the ideology and vision of Bawa Nihal Singh to educate the mass of rural region of Punjab. In this college¸ B.ED. course with 200 seats and E.T.T. course 50 seats per unit are being running successfully with excellent result in academics and other activities¸ Although the former chairperson Bawa Gurmeet Singh is not with us even the seed he had sown is continuously shedding its fruits under the able supervision of Smt. Charanjit kaur Bawa.
