About the institute
Guru Gobind Singh Government Polytechnic Education Society¸ Cheeka was set up from the academic session 2006-07 with Diploma in Computer Engineering with sanctioned intake of 40 students and their guest classes were started at GBN Government Polytechnic¸ Nilokheri. From academic session 2009-10¸ the institute started functioning in its own campus at Cheeka in September¸ 2009. The institute campus is spread over an area of 15.5 acres adjacent to the 220KVA HVPN Sub-Station and opposite to New Grain Market¸ Cheeka at a distance of 3.0 KM (approx.) from Cheeka on the Cheeka-Kaithal road in Kaithal District.
