The genesis of Manikya Lal Verma Textile & Engineering College took place thirty years ago. It is approved by All India Counsel for Technical Education¸ New Delhi and affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University¸ Kota a. Since then it has been a saga of trials and toils¸ progress and prosperity. The College is committed to provide state-of-art technical education and vibrant academic environment.

MLV stands for Manikya Lal Verma; Padma Bhushan (1965) and the then Prime Minister of Mewar Riyasat (Prior to formation of Rajasthan State) and pioneer leader of historic Bijoliya Movement" under whose name the college was established. MLVTEC is engaged in carrying out quality research of significance and technology development at the cutting edge. It imparts training to students so that they become competent and motivated engineers. The College celebrates freedom of thought¸ cultivates vision and encourages growth¸ but also inculcates human values and concerns for the environment and the society.
