Bikaner has been known for its cultural¸ social¸ economical¸ educational and literary traditions. Educational development in this city epitomize the dreams of Maharaja Dungar Singh ji and Sadul Singh ji. In 1933 women education developed desirably. Its glorious history of six decades this institution is serving the nation through women education.

  M.S. College has now become pioneer educational institute in Bikaner. Accredited B++ by NAAC¸ U.G.C. ¸M.S. College¸Bikaner now stands out as one of the most prestigious educational institution devoted to women education. College has been awarded II rank in Rajasthan by Govt. of Rajasthan.

  Maharani Sudarshan Girls College was founded in year 1946 and established as PG College in year 1992-93. It was accredited with a B++ grade by NAAC and was also selected as a model college by the state Govt.  It proves that this college has made specific progress in the area of women education and has maintained   its glorious tradition by playing a leading role in women education. At present 3002 girls are studying in this college.  There are 1864 students in the Faculty of Arts¸ 443 in Commerce Faculty and 447 in Science Faculty. In post graduation 248 students are enrolled 73 Lecturers and 42 other office staff are working here.
