DESCRIPTION :

This college started in 1979 in the form of Department of Law as a part of the Govt. P.G. College now Dr. B R Ambedkar Govt. College¸ Sriganganagar. As according to the directions of the State Government¸ this Department of Law was elevated as an independent Law College in June 2005 in accordance with the norms of Bar Council of India. Since 1979¸ this institution is imparting legal education to the students of the semi-urban and rural area under nominal admission fees and charges. Many of the students of this College have become Judicial Officers¸ Law Lecturers¸ Legal Assistants¸ Public Prosecutors and reputed Lawyers.
This College is imparting legal education under the Three Year Degree Course of LL.B. (Professional) having 120 seats in LL.B. I year. The course of two Year Degree of Master of Laws (LL.M.) has been started in this College from the session of 2008-09 with one section of 20 seats in LL.M. Pt. I.
