DESCRIPTION :

Our college is situated in a calm and serene surrounding. It caters to the needs of future teachers and serves as a launch pad for imparting knowledge in the right way. The college strives to enhance the quality of life of the students emerging from this atmosphere. It peps up the student teachers of this rural area to form a circle of strength and power.
The college was started in the year 2006 offering Electives such as English¸ Tamil¸ Mathematics¸ physical Science¸ Biological Science¸ Economics¸ Commerce¸ History and Social Science.

Imparting education alone will not help the student teachers to develop their personality. Spoken English classes were to help the student teachers to communicate and express themselves better during interviews. Physical education classes were conducted to impart the awareness of physical fitness and discipline to the students.

Importance of spiritual and moral values are also imparted to student teachers¸ to develop and mould their characters and we have made commendable progress in achieving the goals set¸ from the inception of this college. We realize that we have miles to go before we reach greater heights. 80% of our student teachers were selected by various Matriculation schools during the placement interviews. Student teachers were taken to various seminars conducted by other colleges and they were made to meet many subject experts to acquire wide knowledge in their subject.
