The O.P.R Memorial College of Paramedical Science was started in 2009 to offer basic B.Sc.¸ Nursing Degree Programme and was approved by Govt. of Tamilnadu (G.O.No.218 of Health and F.W.Dept dated 03-07-2008).

It is recognized by the Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives Council No 1824/NC/2009¸ Indian Nursing Council¸ New Delhi (146/02/06/2009) and is affiliated to The Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University¸ Chennai (Proc. No. Affln- II (3) /23294/09. In 2012¸ P.B.B.Sc(N) & ANM was started. Our Tamilnadu Nursing counseling code is 338.
