Aalim Muhammed Salegh College of Paramedical Sciences¸ Chennai was established on 1997 managed under Aalim Muhammed Salegh Educational Trust. Aalim Muhammed Salegh College of Paramedical Sciences (AMS College of Paramedical Science) was approved by Govt. of Tamilnadu of Health and Family Welfare Dept. The College was affiliated to the TN Dr. MGR Medical University.

Aalim Muhammed Salegh Trust was established on 1990 by Alhaj Dr. S.M. Shaik Nurddin. The trust was registered under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act 1975 with the aim of imparting General¸ Technical and Medical education in particular to the weaker sections of the society and backward communities.

Aalim Muhammed Salegh Trust is running Aalim Muhammed Salegh Industrial Training Institute from the year 1993¸ Aalim Muhammed Salegh Polytechnic from the year 1996¸ Aalim Muhammed Salegh of Paramedical Sciences from the year 1997 and Aalim Muhammed Salegh College of Engineering from the year 2000. All the above Institutions are functioning in spacious buildings with well ventilated classrooms¸ fully equipped laboratories¸ workshops with well qualified and experienced faculty. These institutions are managed by a Board of Trustees consisting of Philanthropists¸ Educationists and Professionals from various disciplines with vast experience and expertise.
