Sriram Polytechnic College was established in the year 1984 at Perumalpattu Village in Tiruvallur District with approval of Government of Tamil Nadu in G.O.Ms.No.365 (Edn) Dated:29-04-1984 with an aim to help the down-trodden¸ minority telugu speaking people and to uplift the educational standard of the Village based populations.
