Anjuman Engineering College for men¸ Bhatkal was established in 1980 has been given the status of a Muslim minority educational institution¸ by the Government of Karnataka. Initially¸ the college was affiliated to Karnataka University¸ Dharwad. However¸ now it is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University¸ Belgaum¸ and recognized by All India Institute for Technical Education (AICTE)¸ New Delhi¸ for providing technical courses in various branches of engineering. The courses offered by Anjuman Engineering College for men have been accredited by National Bureau of Accreditation (NBA)¸ New Delhi.
