JSS College of Arts¸ Commerce & Science¸ Nanjangud was established in the year 1968 by JSS Mahavidyapeetha¸ Mysore-04. The College has been recognized under 2(f) and 12(B) by the UGC. The College has been imparting education for rural students by involving qualified and dedicated faculties and administrative staff. The college is equipped with good academic and physical infrastructure. The College is situated in Nanjangud town-Known as ?Dakshina Kashi? where devotees worship Lord Srikanteshwara. Our college is a temple for the assimilation of knowledge. The college has been making sincere effort for the cause of general education and rendering yeomen service for social¸ economic & cultural transformation in accordance with the Vision and Mission for nearly four decades. The unprivileged and underprivileged students have been benefited from the college and they have brought laurels to our college. Many of our students have occupied high positions in the society. The college has the vision of producing self-reliant and responsible citizens by following the principles-?WORK IS WORSHIP? and ?KNOWLEDGE IS POWER?¸ the message of His Holiness Dr. Sri Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamiji¸ the Founder President of JSS Mahavidyapeetha¸ Mysore - 04. His Holiness Sri Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji¸ the 24th pontiff of Sri Suttur Math¸ is the President of our organization. Under his able guidance and supervision¸ the college is striving to achieve its goals of Vision and Mission to reach the heights of excellence.
