Mysore is known for educational excellence. Great educationists like Sri.K.C.Reddy¸ Mirza Ismail¸ Sir.M.Vishweshvaraiah under the patronage of the then Maharaia of Mysore His Highness Nalvadi krishnaraja Wadyar started many Institutions for quality education.

The Institute of Education Trust laid stress on quality education Methodological impartation of Knowledge. Thus it started a college of education (B. Ed) to provide educational training for secondary school teachers. Later to accentuate the implementation¸ the Trust started High schools in various extensions of Mysore city. Sri.K.S.Suryanarayana Rao¸ a true Gandhian and a freedom fighter was the chief architect of this Education Trust. He has given his body and soul sensibily in building these institutions. Today we have various Educational Institutions from primary level to tertiary level providing education for the deprived¸ socially ostracized and the urban students on similar platitude.
