DESCRIPTION :

The School of Nursing at the Church of South India Hospital¸ Bangalore was started in the year 1937¸ after it was recognized in the year 1936 for training Midwifery Students¸ in 1960¸ it was upgraded to General Nursing & Midwifery Course¸ approved by The Board of Nursing Education¸ South India Branch¸ Nurses League of Christian Medical Association of India¸ and recognized by The Karnataka Nursing Council & The Indian Nursing Council.

Our Hospital was the first in the Bangalore to start a Geriatric Ward. The Community Geriatric Health Care Course (CGHC) was started by the School of Nursing in the year 1999 under The Board of Nursing Education¸ South India Branch¸ Nurses League of Christian Medical Association of India.
