We encourage the faculty members to attend Workshops¸ Seminars and Conferences¸ Innovative and modern methods of teaching are used to enable the students to develop awareness¸ understanding and critical thinking capacities. The faculties of Indira Nursing College enjoy academic freedom in Curriculum planning¸ implementation and evaluation.

Seminars
Mr. Jestine .T. Jose¸ Associate Professor and P.G students attended a seminar in March 2009 at A. V. Baliga Memorial Hospital about HIV / AIDS ? Counselling Faculties¸ M.Sc. (N)¸ B.Sc. (N) students attended numerous Seminars¸ Workshops and Nursing Conferences conducted by Nursing Colleges.
Training Classes
The faculty members are regularly conducting In-service education programmes for the Staff Nurses working in Indira Hospital.
We have in-house staff development programmes in which our faculties present interesting topics every month.
