Manasa College of Nursing was formed in the year 12-12-2003¸ bearing Government Order No: HFW 523 MPS 2004 to promote quality education in Malur¸ Karnataka State.
Dr. B. Sumadevi the founder president of the trust is an eminent educationalist in India¸ who held several high positions in Government of Karnataka with an educational background.
