DESCRIPTION :

Chinmaya Institute of Nursing was commissioned on 1986¸ with the Female Health Assistant course of 2 years duration course. It was established by Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayanandaji¸ as a sister discipline & provide services to the Chinmaya Mission Hospital. Later this course was discontinued in the year 1988 and upgraded with Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery course. This course is recognized by Government of Karnataka¸ Karnataka Nursing Council¸ and Indian Nursing Council- New Delhi. It has reached the heights of excellence in service and dedication. On an average about 30 student a year get trained in this programme.

In the year 2009 Chinmaya Institute of Nursing once again has entered a new era by upgrading GNM to BSc Nursing Programme after the 20th Batch of GNM with the permission from Govt. of Karnataka¸ Affiliation with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and approval from Indian Nursing Council and Karnataka Nursing Council.
