The S.J.M. Vidyapeetha started S.J.M.Institute of Nursing Sciences in the district Chitradurga to reach the education and Nursing Services this backward region in general¸ in the year 1993 (Diploma in general Nursing and Midwifery-2003(Bachelor of Nursing). Today it is a full fledged College with the infrastructure as required by the INC¸ KNC and RGUHS.
