DESCRIPTION :

We established ourselves in the year 2002¸ as Usman Khan Memorial Educational Trust ? registered in Bengaluru¸ with a noble intention to provide quality education to the society.

In the year 2003¸ we started SOFIA COLLEGE OF NURSING¸ Bengaluru which was approved by the Government of Karnataka¸ Bengaluru and Affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences¸ Bengaluru with 40 seats of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc.¸ in Nursing).

Later¸ after a decade of service in this course¸ we established the Post Basic Bachelor of Science in Nursing with 60 seats as intake which was approved by the Government of Karnataka¸ Bengaluru and Affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences¸ Bengaluru.

Then¸ we moved onto Master of Science in Nursing with specialities of Medical Surgical Nursing¸ Paediatric Nursing¸ Community Health Nursing¸ O.B.G and Psychiatric Nursing¸ which was approved by the Government of Karnataka¸ Bengaluru and Affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences¸ Bengaluru.

Also¸ all our nursing courses are approved by the Nursing Apex Bodies like¸ Karnataka State Nursing Council¸ Bengaluru & Indian Nursing Council¸ New Delhi.
