DESCRIPTION :

Sree Cauvery PU & Management College has commenced in the year 1999. The college is named after the Goddess Cauvery¸ the presiding deity of Kodagu. The river Cauvery has its origin in Tala Cauvery at the foot of Brahmagiri hill in Kodagu.

The College is located within the sprawling premises at HAL II Stage¸ Banglore-560 008. The college is managed by the forward looking Bangalore Kodava Samaja Education Council whose members are nominated by the Kodava Samaja¸ Bangalore. The College conducts the three year course for obtaining the Degree of BBM & B.Com of the Bangalore University. Realising the need for value-based Management education¸ the Kodava Samaja has very ambitious plans to start PG courses like MCA¸ MBA¸ M.Com. etc.

The motto of SREE CAUVERY GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS IS FROM DARKNESS TO LIGHT-- THE FREEDOM FROM THE DARKNESS OF IGNORANCE TO THE LIGHT OF KNOWLEDGE. It is the endeavour of every member of Shree Cauvery PU and Management College to put into practice the motto of the institution in true spirit¸ and to  equip every student that passes out of the portals of this temple of learning a true citizen of the world . Working under the aegis of the Kodava Samaj¸ the institution  over the years has taken in every child that thirsts for knowledge and has empowered every student with all the tools for self-empowerrment and true realisation of ones own potential.
