Vivekananda Women?s College is the brain child of Janatha Education Society. Janatha Education Society was started in the year 1972 by a group of highly dedicated individuals with the noble mission of serving the educational needs of the society. JES started as a small unit with only Pre-University College in the name and style of Vivekananda College at Dr. Rajkumar Road¸ Bangalore. Over the years it has a grown in leaps and bounds and within a span of three decades¸ has become prominent educational institutions managing a large number of institutions including Engineering¸ Law¸ Pharmacy¸ Degree¸ PUC¸ B.Ed.¸ and exclusive college for Women. This is possible due to missionary zeal and un retiring efforts of founders as well as a host of illustrious personalities from different background. Board of JES boasts number of educations¸ advocates¸ businessmen and others. Members strive to cherish the dreams of younger?s. The society has been instrumental in continuously upgrading the quality of education and also keeping in pace with the new avenues by adding new courses and facilities to help the students to achieve their milestones.
